DELE EXAMS
Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE)
The Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official diplomas, which accredit a level of competence and proficiency in Spanish language, issued by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
The Diploma of Spanish (Initial Level) accredits that the speaker has a sufficient language competence to understand and properly react in the usual situations of everyday life and to communicate her or his wishes and needs in basic terms.
The Diploma of Spanish (Intermediate Level) accredits that the speaker has a sufficient language competence to behave with ease in usual situations of everyday life, in normal communication circumstances which do not require a specialized use of language.
The Diploma of Spanish (Superior Level) accredits that the speaker has a sufficient language competence to behave with ease in situations which require a high level of language use and a knowledge of cultural customs revealed through it.
